Hi, I’m Melissa. I’m a UI and Graphic Designer based in Michigan. I have 10 years of experience as a creative designer.
I'm a passionate graphic designer with a creative spirit and a deep-rooted love for visual storytelling. My journey as a designer began at the College for Creative Studies in Detroit, Michigan, where I honed my skills and cultivated my artistic vision. I proudly graduated in 2015, armed with a solid foundation in design principles and a desire to make a mark in the ever-evolving world of graphic design.
Over the years, my career has taken me on an exciting and diverse path, allowing me to explore various facets of the design industry. I've had the privilege of wearing different hats, from the world of printing to the dynamic landscapes of web and mobile design. Each experience has added a unique layer to my skill set, equipping me with a versatile toolkit to tackle creative challenges with finesse.
A glimpse into my life…
During my downtime, you can find me exploring the great outdoors, hiking and backpacking, or in the gym lifting weights or practicing pilates. My camera is never far from reach, photography allows me to capture the beauty I encounter and tell the stories of my adventures. I also have a soft spot for animals, I used to foster dogs, until they found their forever homes. That came to a halt when I was given my very own foster failure, Gidget - a lovable but anxious pitbull mix, the thought of sending her to another family broke my heart, so we became her forever family.
