Overview
BomaLink is a unique social networking platform tailored exclusively for Africa's vibrant business community. Its primary mission is to empower professionals across the continent by fostering meaningful connections and creating opportunities for collaboration.
Registered members can establish networks with other like-minded professionals, share insights, and build relationships that drive growth and innovation. One of the standout features of BomaLink is its Opportunities function, where businesses can post contracting and job opportunities, enabling users to discover and apply for projects that match their expertise.
Each BomaLink member's profile serves as a comprehensive digital portfolio, highlighting key professional attributes such as skills, employment history, educational background, certifications, licenses, and notable achievements. These detailed profiles help users showcase their capabilities, making it easier to attract potential partners, employers, or collaborators.
BomaLink is more than just a networking site; it’s a dynamic ecosystem designed to transform how professionals and businesses in Africa connect, collaborate, and thrive in an increasingly digital world.
Objective
The goal of the site is to allow registered members to establish and connect with other professionals. Through the Opportunities function, businesses can post contracting opportunities for users to apply for. A BomaLink member’s profile page, emphasizes skills, employment history, education, certificates, licenses, and accomplishments to make it easier for hirers to find potentional matches quicker.
User Personas

Alani Mohammed
RECENT GRADUATE
Alani is a recent college graduate from Lagos Business School in Nigeria. Alani currently lives in an apartment with his college roommates in Nigeria. His hobbies include playing sports and video games with his friends.
HIS PROBLEM
Alani is finding it hard to meet like-minded business entrepreneurs. He is career driven but has little experience using his degree in the real world and is looking to connect and network with other business professionals.
HIS GOAL
Alani's goal with BomaLink is to meet new professionals who may have more experience than he does right now and can connect him with new opportunities.

Amelia Adebayo
SENIOR COMMISSIONER FOR AFCFTA
Amelia is the Senior Commissioner for the African Continental Free Trade Agreement (AfCFTA). Amelia lives in a condominium outside of Nigeria with her husband, Oruko. In her spare time Amelia loves teaching her grand children how to bake.
HER PROBLEM
Amelia is having a hard time finding new hires, contractors, freelancers and interns for the AfCFTA. She's noticing no one is replying her to help wanted postings on the bulletin boards on campuses and public spacings she's posted at. She's not extremely tech savvy but is wondering if there is a more modern way to find people who are looking for new opportunities.
HER GOAL
Find new hires, contractors, freelances and interns for the AfCFTA.

Naabhak Okafor
PRESIDENT, AFRICAN EXPORT-IMPORT BANK
Naabhak is the President of the African Export-Import Bank. He divides his time between Nigeria and Washington D.C., while also traveling a lot for work. In his spare time he loves to play golf and competitively cycle.
HIS PROLBLEM
Naabhak loves to network, and while he spends most of his time traveling he is finding it hard to keep up with colleagues and business partners.
HIS GOAL
Naabhak is hoping to use BomaLink to stay connected to friends and colleagues.
