Envirolite

Overview

Envirolite hired me to handle a range of creative tasks, including updating their social media platforms, enhancing marketing materials, and improving their e-commerce and web presence. My focus has been on aligning the brand's messaging and visuals across all digital channels to effectively reach their target audience. By implementing a cohesive strategy, I aim to elevate their online presence and engage customers more effectively. Each project requires a tailored approach, whether it involves content creation, graphic design, or optimizing user experience. Through these efforts, I strive to contribute to Envirolite's growth and strengthen its brand identity in the market.

At the beginning of the project their website was hosted with Wordpress but they expressed their qualms with me about the platform. We ultimately decided to switch to Shopify. I began in Adobe XD with wireframing some of the key pages and initializing the overall look and feel of the new website.

Over the course of three months, I successfully revamped their e-commerce presence, transitioning from an outdated WordPress website to a modern, professional-looking Shopify platform.

Background

Envirolite is the leading provider of specialized foam products. Since its founding in 2008, Envirolite has quickly become a sought-after global provider of diverse foam-based products for a broad customer group, including the athletic, consumer product, energy, flooring, industrial, marine, medical, packaging, and recreation industries.

Envirolite Website & Social Media Before

The Problem

Their current website wasn’t e-commerce-enabled, it redirected users to a separate platform for purchasing products. This setup proved to be neither user-friendly nor conducive to a seamless user experience, ultimately hindering sales performance.

From a design perspective, the website did not align with their branding or effectively appeal to their target audience, which consisted primarily of medical suppliers and athletic and recreation gyms.

The low resolution of the photography significantly undermined the credibility of the brand on platforms such as Amazon. Clear, high-quality images are essential for presenting products effectively and establishing trust with potential customers. Additionally, the lack of a coherent social media strategy further compounded these issues. Many posts were irrelevant to the core business, failing to engage the audience or promote products meaningfully. Coupled with subpar photography, this approach likely diminished the overall impact of their marketing efforts, making it difficult to attract and retain customers.
